Types, shadows and symbols

The New Testament is hidden in the Old Testament, and the Old is revealed in the New, Augustine once said, and it is true. We look into a foreshadow of the church in an event, recorded in Genesis 24, as if it was a rehearsal of what would play out in glorious detail in the New Testament era.
